This is the sheet metal exercise that you can model to add to your portfolio. If you don’t have any sheet metal examples, this will be a good start. You will be provided with images for top, bottom, left, right, front and back. Put these into sketch pictures to act as a guide – you will only be give approximate dimensions which replicates the need to make your model flexible to accommodate changes.
The last and largest part is by far the biggest challenge – do this properly and add the assembly of these to your portfolio. Keep in mind that if you do this using all of the necessary sheet metal features, you’re basically ready to challenge the CSWP – Sheet Metal exam.
